Practice Emphasis

Ms. Silk concentrates her practice on construction and real estate disputes. She represents and counsels owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors and tenants in both litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

Ms. Silk has prosecuted and defended claims involving construction contracts, leases, construction defects, design errors and omissions, professional negligence, mechanics liens, project delays, and ADA and other code violations. She also drafts and negotiates design and construction contracts for all players involved in the development, design and construction process.

Education

Ms. Silk graduated cum laude from Boston College with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in English. She then went on to graduate from Boston College Law School. During law school, Ms. Silk served as Managing Editor of Boston College's Uniform Commercial Code law review and participated on Boston College's National Environment Law moot court team.
