Practice Emphasis

Ms. Morehouse concentrates her practice on construction and commercial litigation. She is responsible for all aspects in case management in litigation matters from legal research to trial and appeal.

Ms. Morehouse has substantial experience in various real estate issues, including deed and easement conveyance issues, long-term commercial leasing, commercial foreclosure, mechanics’ liens, government construction and procurement contracts, prevailing wage laws, and zoning issues.

Representative Matters

Ms. Morehouse has represented and counseled a wide variety of clients, including the largest outdoor advertising company in the United States, construction and real estate development firms, regional banks, hauling and transportation companies, and product manufacturers and distributors. She has obtained summary judgment in five contested Chancery Division and Law Division cases, and successfully defended appeal of summary judgment before the Illinois Appellate Court, First District.
