Five Laurie & Brennan Lawyers Ranked in Chambers USA for Construction Law

Five members of the Laurie & Brennan LLP team achieved individual rankings by Chambers USA for construction law. Chambers has recognized Ty Laurie, Dan Brennan, Ryan Hiss, Krista Kapp and Ross Altman. No other firm in Illinois has as many construction lawyers ranked by Chambers USA.

Dan Brennan has been recognized with Band 1 ranking, the highest possible ranking with one client describing Dan as “thoughtful, responsive and practical”. This is Dan’s nineteenth year being ranked by Chambers with the last three consecutive years ranked as Band 1.

Ryan Hiss has been ranked by Chambers since 2021, this year moving up to a Band 2 ranking. Chambers describes Ryan as “handling a range of construction matters, including major infrastructure and government projects in both the US and abroad”, with a client impressed by his experience as a trial lawyer.

Krista Kapp earned a Band 3 ranking for the fifth year in a row. Chambers’ review describes Krista as “commended for her strong transactional and contract negotiations skills.” One client commented that Krista “really understands business priorities and is great at expressing them in negotiations.”

Chambers has awarded Ty Laurie and Ross Altman as Senior Statespersons for 2023. Ty has been ranked by Chambers since 2003 and Ross since 2004. One client describes Ross as “an exceptional attorney.
