Ryan Hiss Speaks on Indemnification Obligations of Subcontractors

On April 28, 2022, Ryan Hiss, L&B partner, had the opportunity to present at the National Subcontractor Alliance’s Spring Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina.  This conference serves as an educational and networking event with its goal being to create a collaborative space to share successful ideas with subcontractors, association staff, and construction attorneys. Ryan’s presentation, Contractual Indemnification Obligations of Subcontractors, focused on the complexities of indemnification clauses and the attempts by various state governments to limit the scope of these clauses. Ryan also shared negotiation and litigation tips with other construction attorneys regarding the indemnification clauses in subcontracts.
