We are excited to share that Laurie & Brennan attorneys Ryan Hiss and Katherine Ferry presented at the 2025 Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) Annual Conference & Exhibition in Kissimmee, Florida. Ryan and Kate’s presentation “Artificial Intelligence Policies – Why You Need One” discussed the accessibility of AI tools in the construction industry and how a company can best control the selection and use of such tools by implementing formal AI policies.
Ryan also presented “Subcontractor Strategies on Managing Supplier Risk” to assist subcontractors in understanding the value of key terms and conditions with material and equipment suppliers to manage multiple risk areas in an uncertain economic environment including tariffs, warranties, and inconsistent upstream and down stream contract term.
