Laurie & Brennan Sponsors Camp NAWIC

Laurie & Brennan is a proud sponsor of Camp NAWIC. Camp NAWIC is presented by the Chicago Metro chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction.  Camp NAWIC is a week-long summer day camp for female high school students geared towards introducing campers to the construction industry as a viable career option. Camp NAWIC participants are exposed to many facets of the construction industry, from professional careers such as architect, engineer, and project manager to skilled trades such as carpenter, electrician, and plumber.

Camp NAWIC also introduces participants to supporting roles in the construction industry.  To that end, Laurie & Brennan hosted a lunch for the campers on June 12, 2018. During the lunch session, Krista Kapp, Erin Krejci, Kendall Woods, and Carolyn Morehouse provided an overview of their construction law practices, shared their experiences, and answered questions. Laurie & Brennan is proud to support Camp NAWIC and wishes the camp participants the best of luck!
