Ryan Hiss Presents to CFMA Chicago on Advanced Construction Contracts

On April 7, 2022, L&B partner Ryan Hiss presented to CFMA Chicago on Advanced Construction Contracts. Ryan shared practical tips for identifying critical contract terms and managing contractual risks with general contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders in the construction industry.  During the interactive discussion, which addressed key contract provisions, such as standard of care, payment, damages, and termination, Ryan provided participants with strategies for improving their company’s negotiating position and suggestions on alternative language to level the playing field in construction contracts.
